Hi folks,

Now we've got the space and budget for the first 3 months sorted out,
it's time to start conspiring on some projects. Someone sent me a link
to the DIY Desktop CNC machine that's being funded on KickStarter:

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/421256045/diy-desktop-cnc-machine

This would make a great compliment to Paul's RepRap machine. If a few
other folks are interested in such a beast I'll make a donation on
behalf of the Dunedin Makerspace that will get us boards, a builders
manual, etc.

Apparently a donation will also get us listing as a sponsor on their
website, which brings me to the next question. As we formalise things
with the makerspace, I think we should organize a basic website on a
dedicated domain. I propose www.dspace.org.nz, which is available. If I
get a few positive responses, I'll just go ahead and register it, and
we can think about how we want to set things up at our leisure.
