I think startup money will be an issue - there's going to be a bunch of one-time
costs so donations of all sorts will be welcome though we don't want to junk the
place up (too much)
desks, chairs, trestle tables, benches are going to be the first things we need
- and basic workshop tools - stuff many of us may have around but don't use that
much - given this group I suspect that if we try even a little bit we'll have
computer gear coming out our ears
As I mentioned before I have the following to donate:
- oscilloscope
- logic analyzer
- soldering iron
- monitor
- the ubuntu portable mirror (we can run installfests off of it)
- a mendel (which we can use to make more)
- a drill press (assuming we can replace the 110v motor with a 240v one for
cheaper than the cost of a new one)
- a bunch of things I have too many of like basic tools
I don't have any spare tables but I do have an extra whiteboard
I'm sure I'm not the only one - I think I need to throw up a wiki so we can get
lists of this sort of stuff in place
