Agreed - bigger sounds better; something we can grow into. What size 
floor area, roughly? And good lighting is important (ok, admittedly, 
inadequate lighting one of my pet peeves).

I don't think we need to worry about getting that many members right 
away - more of a long-term goal. I'm willing (and expecting) to put in 
quite a bit more than $20/month for this. I get there feeling there may 
be others willing to do the same; even if just to get this thing started.

There's also the option of grants/fundraising/sponsorship/etc, which can 
help a lot. My partner, Anne, has done quite a bit of that in the past, 
and is willing to help out with that sort of thing.
