Club's Day
This happens during O-week. Is pretty much a full day where all club's
and society's on campus (affiliated to OUSA) are given a free spot in
the clubs building. There is pretty much a continuous stream of people
wandering through and a great way to check things out. It is possible to
pay for a table if you are not affiliated but perhaps we could either
prevail upon an existing club for some space or set up a "placeholder
affiliated club" to get us access? If somebody talks nicely to Club's 'n
Soc's people they might even give a discount on the stall. I would
recommend us taking up as the day sees a lot of foot traffic, if you get
a good spot. If there is some cool visual stuff happening then you will
be guaranteed to draw a crowd.

Prelim lectures:
We could ask the Cosc and physics department's (and any other relevant?)
nicely if they would promo us in there prelim lectures (Brief this is
how stuff works in the department - directed at senior staff)

Noticeboards: whip up some niftey posters for circulation around campus.
I would aim to get on departmental ones and forget about public
noticeboards unless you want to be reprinting and circulating every
couple of weeks.

Student Media: There are free advertising spots in critic and R1 for
community groups. We should be able to take advantage of this.
Additionally if we have something cool going on (especially if it
involves robots serving beer...) we should definitely try and get the
critic along.

Evil Facebook: we should have some sort of page online to direct people
to our web presence. This is good way of connecting to people as it is
via peoples friends, which means there is less of a barrier for someone
to turn up as they know someone already.

OUSA: are always looking for cool quirky and interesting stuff for
people to play with at there events (or to draw people along to them) if
we have something interesting that can be done on campus they might be
keen to work with us.
