I think this is a great idea - probably we should wait until we have ourselves 
incorporated and have out non-profit/charity status in place though

I think that we need to make sure that we can pay our basic bills from normal 
memberships - sponsorships can be used to purchase new tools - things we can't 
find from donations. I may be better to encourage places like Jaycar/DS (and 
Mitre10/Bunnings) may be better off giving us stuff rather than money 

I'm a little leery of trying to get money out of schools - I'd rather engage on 
a different level: provide space and tools, maybe even some classes - I'd love 
to see the kids building robots fabbing stuff on the mendel - we can ask for 
donations
